What is The Mental Health Place Blog?
Formerly a separate blog, The Mental Health Place Blog is now a feature of The Toolbox at LisaKiftTherapy.com. It is made up entirely of articles by mental health professionals - other than the creator of The Toolbox, Lisa Brookes Kift, MFT – whose work you can find throughout the rest of the site. Also included are articles by survivors sharing their stories for the benefit of others.
Here are some of my favorite articles:
Healing from Grief through Acceptance Therapy by Ben Klempner, MSW
Borderline Personality Disorder: A Survivor’s Story
Yikes! I’m Turning into my Mother! by Pauline Whalin, PhD
Where Has all the Anger Gone? by John C. Flanagan, LCSW
EMDR and the Brain: How we Think it Works by Cynthia Horacek, LMFT
Becoming Psychologically Healthy by Jennifer Lehr, LMFT
Women and Stress: The Two Do Not Need to Go Together by Susan Liddy, CPCC
If you are a therapist, counselor, certified coach or survivor with a story to tell – and are interested in having an article posted in The Mental Health Place Blog, see Submit Your Articles to learn how.
